Congratulations to our bachelor students Hans and Allard for their successfully completion of  their bachelor end projects. Hans worked on the DFT study on the reactivities of perovskite precursors with electron transport layer SnO2 and he has gained important atomistic insight in the impact of the surface conditions of the oxide layer on the stability of the perovskite layers. Hans has received 8.5 for his project.

Allard worked on Monte Carlo simulations of halide segregation in mixed halide perovskites, where he has made impressive speeding up of the C code and his work also provided important insights in the impact of several parameters in the models. Allard received a 8.0 for his thesis from both Applied Physics and Mathematics!

Well done and congratulations to you both! We wish you a lot of success in your master’s study!
